What This Tool Doesβ
Find the Originβ
Ever found an image but unsure where it came from? Paste the image URL to trace its original source and find higher-resolution copies using powerful reverse-image engines like Google Lens and TinEye.
What problems it solvesβ
Traditional search dictates you visit each search engine individually. This tool consolidates Google, DuckDuckGo, and Bing in a single interface. Plus it offers a Search All Engines button to blast your query across all 3 at once to save massive amounts of time!
Supercharged Extra Featuresβ
- Search All Button: Run a background check on all major engines simultaneously with one click.
- Instant Preview: Paste a URL and instantly get a visual confirmation that the app correctly grabbed your target image.
- Local Search History: The app uses your browser's local storage to remember your past 5 searches seamlessly, allowing you to re-run queries without digging through your clipboard history again.
- Drag-to-Bookmarks Extension: Grab the bookmarklet button located at the bottom of the tool, dock it in your browser bookmarks, and click it when viewing any image across the web to pipe it directly into the Launcher.
Who should use itβ
Designers, researchers, OSINT investigators, and anyone needing quick verification of image sources without privacy concerns or installing additional extensions.
Why it mattersβ
The web has countless search endpoints. Finding the perfect matching image often means running the same query on three different engines. This app speeds up the workflow immensely and prioritizes your privacy doing all operations in the browser.
How It Worksβ
Inputβ
You provide an input in the form of a target image URL or text string.
Processingβ
The built-in logic detects the input type instantly. If a URL is detected, the dashboard automatically shifts to Reverse Image Search mode. If plaintext is detected, it shifts to Text Search mode.
Limitationsβ
This tool relies on public URLs of images rather than uploading local files. File uploads are not supported directly from local storage due to modern CORS web security standards. Instead, use images hosted on Imgur, Discord, or public websites!
Outputβ
Clicking any search provider button automatically constructs the proper query parameters securely and launches the target engine in an adjacent tab, giving you instant image results!
Frequently Asked Questionsβ
Why can't I upload local files?β
Modern search engines like Google and Bing employ strict cross-domain security techniques (CSRF tokens) that block automatic server-less POST uploads from third-party tools. To maintain an app that is purely privacy-first and runs totally in your browser via URL redirection, local files have been intentionally excluded.
Is any of my search data stored?β
No! This is a 100% client side React app. The application reads the text field value and constructs standard search URLs without interacting with a server.
